How Bias Interferes with Change

Join ACMP Texas and ICF Austin & San Antonio as we announce our partnership and kick off a series of interactive talks on unconscious bias.

In this first session, ICF and ACMP members, Patricia Grimsley and Eddie Turner will share their personal experiences and how they use their coaching and change tools to manage bias in the workplace. Interactive breakout sessions will allow you to discuss how you can put these actions in place with your peers.

About the Speakers

 Patricia Grimsley is a results-driven business strategist and proactive business partner to senior management. Her expertise includes designing, communicating, implementing, and managing strategic and tactical business solutions, strategic change management, organizational development; business and cultural transformations; executive and leadership coaching; employee engagement, innovative problem solving, thinking differently, and straight talking.

Patricia has over 30 years of diverse business experience a cross seven industries where she has developed and led high performing diverse teams focused on enabling the achievement of organizational strategies effective collaboration and consistent application of change management methodologies, expertise, and consultation.

Patricia, a native of New York City, earned her bachelor’s and master's degrees at New York University and is currently working towards her PhD in I/O Psychology. She holds certifications as: Professional Coach, Change Management Professional, SAFe practitioner, Hogan
Assessments, and Six Sigma Green Belt.


 Eddie Turner is an in-demand expert and the author of the international best-selling book 140 Simple Messages to Guide Emerging Leaders. He is a C-Suite advisor and national media commentator. Eddie has appeared on several media platforms, including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and CNN LIVE.

Of the more than 37,000 ICF members in 143 countries, Eddie Turner was selected as the ICF Coach of the Week on March 23, 2020. Eddie is one of Marshall Goldsmith's 100 Coaches and is the host of the Keep Leading!® podcast, which earned Apple Podcasts coveted New & Noteworthy designation.
