Members can connect with a worldwide community of coaches and participate in a wide range of programs. Through this invaluable ICF network, each coach’s expertise becomes the resource of all coaches. ICF Greater Austin Charter Chapter Membership Benefits include:
  1. Continuing Education – Access to thought leadership and trends related to the coaching profession and earn Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) to maintain their current ICF credential.

Build Leadership Skills
ICF Members may volunteer for a variety of leadership roles within the organization, including local and international positions. Connect with your local Chapter to discuss local needs. Attend Conferences Worldwide

Participate in the Credentialed Coach Finder (CCF)
ICF Credentialed Members may host a member profile on the CCF as part of their membership. Routinely promoted in ICF communications, the CCF increases a coach's visibility as individuals and companies seeking coaching services use the CCF to find the right coach for their needs. Learn more about CCF here.

Enroll in an ICF-approved Coach Training Program
There are thousands of coach training programs, but ICF can help you narrow your search. More than 220 programs have gone through rigorous reviews and demonstrate they align with ICF’s Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. By completing an ICF-approved training program, you can be confident you are getting a high-quality education. Search approved programs here.

Apply for an ICF Credential
Achieving credentials through ICF - the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program - not only makes a coach more marketable in a competitive market, but also signifies a coach’s commitment to integrity, an understanding of coaching skills and a dedication to clients. ICF Credentials are awarded to professional coaches who meet stringent education and experience requirements and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies. All ICF Members are provided complete information about the ICF Credentialing Program, including ICF’s individual credentialing and Coach Training Programs. Gain Continuing Coaching Education
ICF Chapters and Communities of Practice can apply for Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEUs) for hosting ICF seminars and conferences. Coaches can use these credits when establishing or renewing an ICF Credential. By selecting ICF-approved events for CCEUs, members are assured the education provided aligns with the ICF Core CompetenciesCode of Ethics and Definition of Coaching. Search the ICF Event Calendar to see current events.

ICF Annual Report Members can learn about ICF’s accomplishments in its Annual Report. 

ICF Logo & Membership Certificate
To build credibility, align your brand with ICF. Members-Only Content and Updates
Members have access to member-only content on Coachfederation.org. Additionally, members will receive regular update emails containing deadlines, new offers and other news items. Select updates are provided in several languages.

Coaching Research
ICF seeks to facilitate the exchange of information among researchers and practitioners studying coaching theory, methodologies and outcomes. ICF Members have access to all materials available in the ICF Research Portal and receive discounts when purchasing research reports sold by the ICF. Additionally, members will have the opportunity to assist with ICF research efforts when future studies are conducted.
