Biography
Marcia Rhode is a personal coach and business consultant who helps individuals and organizations uncover and refocus their capabilities to achieve success.
I spent three decades in business and IT, where I architected business and IT solutions and managed numerous teams and organizations, implementing new technologies and best practices to organizations, such as Bertelsmann Entertainment Group, Pfizer, Citgo, Nestle, Helzberg, Union Bank. I came see how tech and business problems – and personal challenges – are fundamentally rooted in human dynamics more than situational circumstances. I offer my clients an ability to deeply listen, provide perceptive insights along with strong and compassionate support.
After a successful consulting career, I obtained a certification in Evidence Based Coaching with an M.A. in Organizational Development. Now I help others architect practical solutions to their current challenges and dilemmas. I’m passionate about applying what I’ve learned – about tech, teams, trauma, and transformation – to help others navigate both change and inertia to change.
Each individual has their own unique path. My purpose is to help you find, define, and realize that path with hope, clarity, courage, and authenticity, because life is so much more than “getting by” or “hanging on” through inevitable ups and downs. It’s about finding meaning and joy in the context of our relationships, family, vocation, and personal passions.
When we each do better, we all do better. This is true for families, work teams and communities. The only person we can change is ourselves, which is excellent news for those willing to start the journey to a more fulfilling and successful life experience.
I strongly believe in the ‘daisy chain’ of life, that we all have the ability – and responsibility – to help others around us. And the best way we can help others is to develop and mature our own strengths.
