AUGUST MONTHLY MEETING
In today’s head-centric culture we put extremely high demands on our brains asking them to do everything from planning, to decision making, anticipating and controlling outcomes, creating, connecting and relating all the while disconnected from the resources and support that lie just below our neck. This imbalance results in increased stress and anxiety, decreased creative problem-solving, decreased ability to relate to others and engage fully with life. As coaches, we experience these challenges both within ourselves and with our clients. When we can connect with our natural body wisdom we access resources and bring balance to our systems, increase our capacity for innovation and creativity, build self-awareness and self-confidence, decrease stress, and improve our ability to connect and engage with others and with life.
Participants will learn the benefits of body-mind integration and somatic movement as both personal and professional resources. Through experiential process, participants will gain an understanding of how to access the intelligence of in their body and how to use it in their coaching practice.
