Are you feeling the effects of stress in your life, such as disrupted sleep, lack of focus, a constantly racing mind, and heightened emotional reactiveness? We have an exciting opportunity for you to discover how your body can become your best friend in releasing stress and restoring balance!

Join us for an introduction to the the world of Tension Release Exercises (TRE) and Emotional Regulation, an immersive and highly practical in-person workshop.

Here’s how you can benefit from this workshop:

  1. Personal Stress Management: Coaches, like anyone else, can experience stress due to their professional and personal lives. By better managing their own stress levels, coaches enhance their overall well-being and ability to support their clients.
  2. Enhanced Empathy and Emotional Regulation: As coaches, it's crucial to be attuned to clients' emotions and experiences. By cultivating a deeper understanding of their own mind-body connection and their own emotional responses, Coaches can enhance their empathy, presence, and ability to hold a safe space for clients.
  3. Modeling Self-Care: Coaches often emphasize the importance of self-care to their clients. By prioritizing their own well-being, coaches can inspire and empower clients to prioritize their self-care, ultimately creating a positive ripple effect.

The TRE workshop will be held at Casa de Luz on June 28, 2023 from 10 am to noon.  Attendance is limited to 7 people.

10:00 - 10:15 am Arrival and Getting Settled

10:15 am - 12:00 pm TRE Workshop

Please make sure you bring a yoga mat and water bottle.  Plan to wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.

The workshop is lead by ICF Austin Chapter member, Amanda Duarte (PCC, NBC-HWC), a somatic coach that specializes in the field of emotional regulation. With a deep care for the mind-body connection, Amanda empowers individuals to cultivate emotional well-being and navigate life's challenges with greater ease. Amanda's passion for helping others stems from her personal experience of burnout and the understanding of the impact that unresolved stress and tension can have on our overall well-being. Through the application of TRE, clients learn to tap into their body's innate wisdom and activate the body's natural ability to release stress and restore equilibrium.
