Navigating the ICF Credentialing Journey: What's Changing and What You Need to Know
The ICF credentialing landscape is evolving, bringing significant changes to how coaches prepare for, pursue, and maintain their professional credentials. Whether you're working toward your ACC, PCC, or MCC, supporting others as a mentor coach, or considering your next stage of professional development, understanding these changes is essential.
Join us for an informative and practical conversation designed to bring greater clarity to the credentialing journey. We'll explore recent and upcoming ICF changes, including the distinctions between Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Portfolio pathways, and what these mean for coaches at different stages of their development.
We'll also unpack the evolving role of mentor coaching, including the new Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS), Enhanced Mentor Coaching processes, and their implications for credential applicants and mentor coaches. Alongside these developments, we'll consider the role of coach supervision, how it complements mentor coaching, and its growing significance in the coaching profession.
Throughout our time together, we'll distinguish between what is required, what is changing, and what represents an opportunity for continued professional growth. We'll also make space for questions and explore practical considerations for navigating transitions in the credentialing process.
Have a question you’d like us to cover? You can submit it ahead of time when you register, as long as you do so by October 23.
Whether you're just beginning your credentialing journey, preparing for your next credential, or guiding others along the way, this session will help you better understand the evolving landscape and make informed decisions about your next steps.
